Have the ability to add seperator lines or boxes for each item of a purchase order

It would be nice to have lines on purchase orders that separate each individual Item on a purchase order. Sometimes I have purchase order with 3-4 pages of items. Items start running together. It would be very helpful if we had the ability to print boxes or separation lines for each item (similar to formatting in Excel). It would make things much easier for my warehouse workers to pull the orders. Right now I do this manually with a pencil and ruler. Why this isn't already part of the software is beyond me.
