We at Viewpoint sincerely thank you for your contribution to Suggestion Box on how we can improve Viewpoint products. While we can’t do everything at once, we rely upon your feedback to help guide the prioritization of our product improvements, and Suggestion Box is a critical tool for us to understand and prioritize our customers’ needs.
Viewpoint reviews Suggestion Box regularly for all of our products and updates statuses, adds comments, and performs various house-keeping (including deleting) as needed to ensure that Suggestion Box is maintained as a productive environment for product enhancements requests.

We understand that this button action is not what some users are familiar with. We are considering options for how to best implement an improvement in the future - the actual change isn't hard but implementing it isn't simple, as this change will impact nearly every single page and function of the product, and will also be a change to the thousands of users who are currently used to using it the way it is even if not their preferred action. Save functionality throughout the application should not close the form. With some of the more complex set ups, users choose to "save often" and are frustrated that the form closes and that they have to re-open it to continue what they are doing. This can take time. F5 helps but doesn't excuse this unusual behavior compared to other Windows applications.
