The field in is project setup, on the additional tab. The field is called Estimated Completion Date. Since this is an estimate it should not limit the ability to bill the project. It is time consuming to correct this problem when a notice is received that a billing cannot be created because the date you want to bill is after the estimated completion date. You have to delete the billing or s as pre-dating the billing so you can save it (might be into a closed period). Then you have to go back to the project and change or remove the estimated completion date. Then go back into billing and re-create the billing or pull up the billing you saved with the wrong date and re-save it with the correct date. This process is time consuming and prone to error is missing a step.
