For data integrity purposes, once we commit to a billing code for billing I agree it should not be changed. However, I would like to be able to change the billing code description. Let's say after the first billing, the owner wants a line item to have a small change int he description. We should be able to do that without changing the original billing code number. It is just the test that would need editing.
The same would apply to cost codes. If you are creating custom cost codes for a project, it would be great to be able to change the name (not number) if needed.

On my system today, I have two AIA invoices already posted.
I edited the name of one of the billing codes at the Job setup.
I then updated by WIP (which did not reflect the new edited name).
I created a new progress billing and the new name did show up.
So, in my case, this FR seems to be working already!
Update: We can change the name of a cost code after the fact. Now we just need to edit Billling Code names after the fact as well.
