This is a general suggestion for the entire ProContractor desktop application.
Although ProContractor has built-in capabilities allowing administrators to edit forms and reports, I have confirmed with Viewpoint that there is no ability to edit data entry screens. This is a huge limitation. For example, I want to edit the Daily Field Report data entry screen in the ProContractor desktop software so that it only shows the fields we are interested in (which are very few). Our Project Managers are requesting that things are simplified so that they only see the fields we are interested in - as things stand now, there are so many extraneous fields that data entry and data review are unnecessarily laborious.
I completely understand that there must be some limitations, but I believe that allowing us to hide fields is critical.
Dear Viewpoint Suggestion Box contributor;
We at Viewpoint sincerely thank you for your contribution to Suggestion Box on how we can improve Viewpoint products. While we can’t do everything at once, we rely upon your feedback to help guide the prioritization of our product improvements, and Suggestion Box is a critical tool for us to understand and prioritize our customers’ needs.
Viewpoint reviews Suggestion Box regularly for all of our products and updates statuses, adds comments, and performs various house-keeping (including deleting) as needed to ensure that Suggestion Box is maintained as a productive environment for product enhancements requests.
