Every project needs an assigned project manager. In most software systems, this is an employee that you can select as the PM for the project. There is no field in PC for this! It is a must have and should be right in the first Project screen for easy access. The field should then also be available in the Field Chooser of Project Setups.

They not only need to add a project manager field, but others such as warranty date, date you were paid in full.
These are important pieces of information that you have to set up user defined fields for. Seems like these would be things they should have included when originally writing the software.
Thanks for your suggestion Amanda. My consultant set that field up for a different purpose but I can see how that would work.
The bottom line is that we should have a dedicated field for the PM without having to use anything else. It really is a fundamental piece of important info.
I use the Project Group to track which project manager has what job. Maybe that will help you?
