It's cumbersome to search through the list alphabetically since a lot of jobs have generic names. Allow a choice of how you want to sort them, specifically by job number. Or add a search function.

This is 2 years old and "planned." What is the hold up?
Why is this taking so long to implement? This idea is almost 2 years old
Job Number default would be amazing!
This idea is excellent. We are looking for the same feature.
If given a choice I would rather see the default by job # rather than name, It would be much easier to find the project
That sounds like a great improvement, and I understand the reasoning to not delay the release. Are you talking about the Projects>Setup>Project page or the Projects>Setup>View Project Setups grid. If it were on that grid, I would love it. Being able to filter by Project Manager for example and assign that PM their jobs only rather than sorting through the long list of all projects for all companies active and inactive.
Thanks for the continued work and improvements! We've only been using PCMX a few months and it seems like there's always improvements being made!
We considered options for including a Search in the first phase, but it was a very large undertaking and would have drastically delayed the release. We're considering options to provide filtering/sorting options to order the project list by alphanumeric, by last used, or even by proximity, but no one answer solves every request. More to follow.
In the meantime, we've been working to make it simpler and more intuitive to only attach projects to those mobile users who need them, and thereby reducing the number of projects that appear in the device. In the fall release (3.5) we are doing a lot to streamline this process, including but not limited to allowing you to assign projects to mobile users from the project setup page without having to go to the mobile user setup. Keep an eye out for these enhancements as we consider options for the search and filter capabilities.
