Ability to change invoice number after invoice is posted.

Right now, in order to correct a typo in the invoice number, you have to void the invoice.  Would love to see the ability to edit and save corrected.  If not, maybe a way to copy, void, then past the invoice with corrected invoice number?

  In other software programs, this is handled by having a system generated "behind-the-curtain" id number for a transaction (invoice) that remains constant even though the user-entered invoice number might be changed. This would work in a lot of different scenarios where one might need to change vendor/customer ids, vendor invoices, payroll check numbers, etc.

  Agreed. Amercian Contractor allows this option. Very helpful tool!
