Collaborate with Viewpoint and your peers by providing us with your input
The Posting Date warning is useful but not when it opens an additional column on screen just for a notice that the Posting Date is more than 30 days in the past.
A better design would be to have a warning pop up message.

It would save us from having to close the Messages Screen each time this happens. The Message Screen may be helpful for other types of posting messages but it is way overkill for simple data messages IMO.

Often times when saving an entered record the Message Screen opens up and then quickly closes when there really isn't a message to display... very annoying.
