We use Project Connect everyday - and this feature could GREATLY BE IMPROVED ON and be even better. - It is great to use IF you have OPEN vendor invoices - But I need to be able to drill into COST TO DATE to see at a glance my expenses with a Cost and Billing Detail Report - that way I can see which employees were used on the job without having to leave Project Connect and run a report - AS WELL AS WHAT VENDORS were used after invoices have been paid and to be able to see the vendor invoice history.
Earned Profit to Date would be a great place to be about to click on and at least see a project profitability summary report, there again, without having to leave Project Connect to key in information to run a report.
I hate having to run a report for every little bit of information I need! - a drill in feature would be GREAT in a lot of places instead of opening up 5 different reports to figure out where the information is that you need to locate if it is not where it is supposed to be.

The drill down feature would be beneficial to all reports. It's incredibly time consuming to have to go to 10 different places to get information!
I agree! It takes so much time to have to run 10 different reports to get a small amount of information that could be consolidated into one area of the program.
I would also like to see paid invoices on the Project Connect screen, not just the open invoices. That way you could have a whole cost picture.
It would also be great to keep the ORIGINAL budget amount viewable along with the current budget amount.
We are considering many options for accessing your detail data in an easier manner, be it in drill down reports, drill downs in Project Connect, or some other method. This is something that is on our roadmap for future development - thanks for your input.
