This suggestion is not to replace the many requests to have drill down in PC. However, until that happens, it would be great to have Project Connect link to the saved PDF docs associated with the detail.
For example, since we are required to print AR invoices and posting journals before posting, PC makes and stores a PDF of it. Why not allow Project Connect to open those PDFs from thru Project Connect?
Examples that would make this a better management feature include:
AR billings
Owner Change Orders
Sub Change Orders
AP Posting Journals to support the job costs
Cash Receipts journals to support cash receipts for the project
Because PC already saves all this type of data, it would take programming to link to the PDF's. Seems like this would help while we someday might get true drill down capability.

Agreed - when validating a subcontractor's monthly invoice, we use Project Connect to confirm the contracted subcontract amount, any change orders issued to date AND what the subcontractor has been PAID (not invoiced) to date. Very important to be able to quickly confirm these amounts.
Absolutely need to see paid invoices under the subcontracts tab...not just what the subcontractor has invoiced. A drill down to view those paid invoices would be very helpful as well.
