I think everyone would benefit from the ability to upload journal entries. there are many times I do 20 line item Journal Entries. I do an offline spreadsheet with calculations, showing the Accounts, etc, and to be able to take that make it an excel spreadsheet and upload it would be amazing! I can't do reoccurring because the amount change slightly each month.
Every system I have used, including DOS based systems have had this function. I am shocked that this one does not.

We have that. We created new journal types and messed around with the columns and the excel columns to get them to match. Then we copy from the excel and paste into that particular template.
The best example is the one (actually two, one for GL accounts and one for projects) we created to capture the data from our purchase card at the end of the month. The report from the card company was over 600 lines this month. We sort data, add blank columns to make it work and then paste it into the template. It's a bit messy at first trying to get it all to match, but has saved us a ton of time.
