Multiple delete for Active Jobs and Catalogs

For some reason the active jobs and catalogs list gets extensively long and you can only delete each instance one by one.  It would be helpful if you could select multiple and do a mass delete.  Also, it would be helpful to fix the issue with estimates being held on exclusive when the estimate was taken off exclusive and closed.  It seems like it gets hung up and held on exclusive often.

thank you for your response Quest support. However, I think you are missing the problem here.

"This raises the question as to why the list does not maintain itself and only report back the real user status.  I think there is a problem in the software that allows this list to get out of date and grow over time."

We too experience jobs that are locked / open when no one is in them, including the catalogue. Why isn't the software removing the lock when a user closes the estimate?

I agree with Kevin's post, this list gets long in our company as well and we have  had the same problems with the exclusive mode getting "stuck"  on when it really isn't.

Possibly I was not clear in my explanation.  Under ALL TASKS --> ESTIMATING --> SETUP --> USERS --> Estimating User Status opens a window called "Active Jobs and Catalogs".  Over time an extensive list develops and shows jobs as "Open" when they are no longer open.  Many Catalog items show as Open when they are not.  Jobs get stuck on Exclusive when no one has them opened, but in this list it appears as open and exclusive.  The only way I have found to clean this up is to Delete the occurrence one by one.  It will not allow you to select multiple items from this list and mass delete.  This raises the question as to why the list does not maintain itself and only report back the real user status.  I think there is a problem in the software that allws this list to get out of date and grow over time.

Do you really want to delete the jobs and lose the information or possibly a way to hide old jobs that are no longer needed?

Agreed, a filter by date and mass delete and or export would be a large improvement
