Collaborate with Viewpoint and your peers by providing us with your input
It is such a waste of time to have to keep entering values in fields for which there is only one choice. We are in ONE country, we have ONE company, we have ONE department, we are not union so we have only ONE "NUL" union. It just doesn't make any sense to have the program keep asking for information that it already knows.

Nearly 5 years old. Most, if not all the ProContractor users I have messaged with have only 1 county, 1 company, 1 department, 1 work location, etc. so why do these not autofill? When you click on the box, there is only 1 option to select. It needs to be auto-filled.
This adds a lot of redundant entry for us as we have only one company, one department, etc.!! This should be an easy thing to fix.
We have two companies, but I still agree with you! Being able to set defaults if we want should be an option. We can't set a default bank account like we could in A/C. :(
Just anther example of wasted keystrokes and time. You are 100% correct. We also only have 1 company, one country. and no unions so it's just unnecessary work.
Agreed! Sage 100 Contractor has a robust user-defined list of values that can be used by quick-fill or field defaults. Almost as many as you want! They are written in SQL so that should not be an issue.
These user-friendly requests are so important to have implemented in PC. I am getting worn out as others are with having to justify the most basic processes!
We all need to keep asking for the obvious IMO.
