Create a portal where employees can log in to view their check stub instead of waiting to get it in the mail. Being able to view it on their own terms will help employees by having quicker access to the information, instead of waiting 2-5 days to receive it in the mail

In Addition to paychecks, add their W2s, ACA 1094/1095, and PTO balances

Highly agreed. Currently, paychecks have to be manually emailed in the view payroll check log screen. The "Email Sent" column does not populate with data until the screen is refreshed however it is not an indicator if the email was actually sent since email accounts have individual maximum capacity for attachments to be sent. Due to this, we recommend only sending about 50 paychecks at a time which means this can take some time.
Then employees have to determine what date the email was sent / received to review it. The emails commonly get filtered to their spam / junk inbox. Most construction employees are not familiar with whitelisting an email account or creating email rules for the emails to route to a specific file folder. It would be ideal to have an online portal possibly to Quickbooks which provides information such as PTO balances, paychecks amounts, etc
In addition, it would be more secure than emailing and beneficial during COVID to go paperless.

Is there a reason PC would not want to create a portal for the employees to be able to access all their paystubs and W2's? It would only add more benefit to PC. Emailing the paystubs is great, but when you have employees that come in every month to print a months worth because they delete them out of their email or forgot their password, we have to accomodate versus having them just access their portal and see all their information. It could also show the status of their current deductions, if there is a balance, etc. Just a thought to reconsider for future development.

Payroll check stubs can be emailed to employees at the end of the posting processing for payroll
