Collaborate with Viewpoint and your peers by providing us with your input
When changing the "Set as XXXX area Default" it would be nice to have a button somewhere to update all areas of this type to the new default. Example: I have 30 "Topsoil Islands" that are all in at the depth of 10" based on the depth of the surrounding paving. I get an addendum saying that the paving is now 8". As it stands now, I need to open all 30 of the "Topsoil Islands" individually and change the depth to 8" by either setting the default and then "Restoring defaults" or by overwriting the "12" with an "8". With the update all selections button, I could update them all at once saving countless minutes per job, or hours over the year.

Maybe I didn't see it when I originally wrote this 2 years ago, but the "Copy" function does exactly what I was looking for.
I have same problem when changing areas thickness due to base bid without soil stabilizationand one alternate with soil stabilization.
This needs to done asap.
