This software is not user friendly and needs to implement more upgrades regarding the accounting features. We had to input the Federal Tax Table! This should be part of a yearly update! We have had several accountants tell us this software is awful and that we wasted our money.

We switched Jan. 2016 and are STILL waiting for some much need Accounting Upgrades! With the amount of $$$ we are paying out with this program we are sorely DISSAPPOINTED! Come on Already Viewpoint, PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR END USERS!

I completely agree. My CPA was shocked when I told him our accounting software doesn't automatically update the federal tax rates. He said this is completely standard for all other accounting software. Where are these fixes, Viewpoint?

Bob, you are 100% correct. I had had issues with print the AIA G702 continuation sheets. There is room on the page but for some reason it throws the last line to a 2nd continuation sheet. Didn't start happening until we upgraded to 3.5. Still waiting on a fix for that. Also, I can not get the Generate Recurring Journal Entries to work. Had support help me with the first one, but everything I try to use it, it won't work. Still waiting on that fix. But, what I find really offensive is to get an email saying look in the Learning Portal after I have specifically stated during my call that I need someone to call, that this has happened before.. Most times when I look for something I never get an answer. Just totally disappointed in all aspects of this software.

Over the last three years of using ProContractor, I have arrived at the same conclusion. The support staff has been extremely helpful and I have always felt they are doing their very best to resolve issues. That said, however, whenever issues are beyond support's abilities and are sent to development (programmers), I no longer have much hope in getting the issues resolved. Granted there have been a few that have been fixed but the vast majority of issues remain unresolved. It would seem that they are definitely out-of-touch with the users' perspective. I'm still hoping however with the advent of this Suggestion Box, that those in charge will start to listen to the groundswell of issues that are being presented herein.

I couldn't agree more. This is the only software I've ever used where you had to input the tax table information. Furthermore, whenever upgrades are out, 90% of them apply to estimating, what about the accounting modules. This is where the concentration should be. As awful as Management Suite was this is worse. At least in Management Suite you could write your own reports, print check selection registers that totaled by invoice, etc. I personally feel a lot the the problem is the programmers have final say it what reports look like and not the end users. Truly sorry we ever switched.
