Create a new payroll "Earning Type" called PTO

We want the payroll Earning Type "Vacation" to be only for Vacation usage and not PTO.   We need PTO to have it's very own Earning Type for reporting and pay stubs

  There are more and more companies getting away from breaking our vacation, sick pay, and other paid time off and lumping it all together under the category of PTO, Paid Time Off. This way an employee can use it for whatever they need to use it for. The last 3 companies that I have worked for all had the same policy regarding PTO.

  We created a pay class PTO that is used instead of the default, which solved the problem for us.
