There is a lot more subcontractor information that needs to tracked than is included on a vendor's subcontractor tab and including a few more fields for insurance carrier names, policy numbers, start dates as well as Contractor License Number, State, Valid from and Valid through.

It is sad to think that my employer offered to PAY to have the auto insurance field added and he has been totally ignored. Timberline manages to offer this feature. Why can’t ProContractor….

I agree that this request does not exist!!!
This FR is clear in that there are fields we DO NOT have in PC at this time but are needed.
In the Vendor setup file, we do have GL and WComp expiration dates and conractor's expiration data but DON NOT have Carriers, Policy Numbers, contractor's license NUMBER!, automobile expiration date.
The subcontracts can pull from the vendor setup for insurance but we need this added fields to properly manage the subs and the job!
When the status is not "Already Exists" that is just not true! Please revisit this request in detail.

It does not already exist!! Come on, users are not that stupid. A "work-around" is NOT a feature. Please reclassify the status on this suggestion.

I beg to differ. This does not "Already Exist". Do you actually read the suggestion completely? I know you want to get some of these suggestions closed but a better way would be to actually include them in the program.

Contractor License number and automobile insurance expiration date are not available in PC as part of the program so this request should not be closed!

I understand about the UDFs and do have all of these set up there. However, these do not produce warnings when expired.

The Compliance tab of the Vendor record includes some of the fields you are looking for here, such as insurance policy expiration dates, For the information not currently being collected, you may create User Defined Fields here on the vendor record for collecting whatever additional information you desire. These UDFs are also available in the Logs and Reports.
