Add 'Auto Insurance' compliance item for vendors and subcontractors. Currently only General Liability and Workers Comp insurance compliance items are provided, however, auto insurance must also be submitted from vendors/subs and tracked accordingly. Merged

    What if we added 10 generic fields (each with a date and value to enter field) and then you can provide a label for each one given your specific needs. The system would then use the dates to provide warnings etc based on the dates.


    Would that help solve the problem?

    Agree! Having the COI Certificate Of Insurance per each job will make our work easeir, me to I have keep a spreadsheet handy per job with COI, I am sure every contractor need this to be handy, and a report generate for insurance, Audit.

    Also, another feature that would be very helpful is a drop down to select the Project #.  Some of our subcontractors always put the job that they are working on, it isn't always a generic COI.  That has caused us problems with audits in the past.  Now I have to keep a spreadsheet to make sure I have a COI for each job.

    THIS IS SOMETHING WE NEED, PLEASE PLEASE FIX IT! I NEED TO TRACK NOT JUST THE GL & WC, AUTO, UMBRELLA LIABILITY, OPEN THE OPTION TO AD MORE FIELDS, PROFESSIONALS INSURANCE FIELD, WHY WE ARE SO RESTRICTED?

    I agree that the ability to customize compliance is very important.  Being able to add additional required items such as W9, or different types of insurance policies like Floater insurance or builders risk is essential.  Not sure why this program is so behind when older programs had the ability to do these simple tasks.

    This tab definately needs additional possibities, Auto Ins, Umbrella Ins, Safty training etc.  As it is now, it is too easy to miss required compiance from a subcontractor

    I would also like to add that it isn't just the expiration date for compliance that needs to be tracked. In addition there should be fields for insurance policy number, carrier, and start date, AND license class. I believe I submitted a suggestion for this previously that may have been marked "already exists' because one could create the fields as UDFs. However, this is not ideal because one has to go look for them rather than the pop-up expiration warnings that the system generates for the existing compliance records. Also not every vendpr/subcontractor is required to comply with all of the items, so a check box of which ones the specific vendor/subcontractor needs would make more sense.

    We would like a compliance item called Safety Training, so maybe a couple generic compliance types that could be used for whatever the various companies wanted.

    This is accomplished in other software by having customizable compliances, which could really help tracking on projects with specific requirements (OCIP projects, as an example).  I'd like to see more compliance options added.

    It would also be helpful to have an umbrella insurance compliance item for vendors.
