Collaborate with Viewpoint and your peers by providing us with your input
It seems like most of the time when I try to find specific information, whether it be Project, Vendor or Customer, the Views do not include the fields that I need. Then when I try to find a report that I can modify, those same fields are not available there either. It would make PCMX so much more useful if it wasn't so hobbled by the narrow selection of fields and would give us the full array of fields that PCMX has in its database.

There are quite a few "description" and "memo" fields that aren't used anywhere that would be helpful in a sort or a report or a form. To have access to everything in a record would be a big improvement.
I completely agree, Bob. This is absolutely critical - ProContractor has so little ability for end users to customize it to their business' needs - and we're not talking about fancy customization ...just the ability to add a field to a view.
Viewpoint has told me they don't have a data map for the ProContractor SQL database. I don't see how ProContractor is going to survive against other products on the market.
2 1/2 years later, still in review. Hmmmm.... what does that tell us?
It seems to me that if you are able to input information into the system that the datasets for the reports and forms should allow you to pull the same information out to use in reports and forms. Project memo being one such field, I would find this a useful field for us if I could access it to modify reports and forms.
