This is the report used to enter the payroll deposit, which requires three totals - Federal Income Tax Withheld, Combined Social Security, and Combined Medicare. The Tax Liability by Pay Date report shows the Employer and Employee portions of Social Security and Medicare separated, so you have to add them by hand. It would be helpful if the report would simply add those two tax types for you.

If you use EFTPS, you don't have to report it as the true values withheld. You can put 1 dollar in FICA and SS and put the balance in the Tax box. I've been doing it for years. It even says on the screen
