Collaborate with Viewpoint and your peers by providing us with your input
It is extremely aggravating to have to close out of a module and reenter data because 1 item wasn't completed before trying to complete a task. You should be able to go into the task that needs to be fixed and refresh the one you are in without losing the data you already input. This is the most aggravating non-functionality of ProContractor.
A perfect example of this is setting up a project. If the tax authority hasn't already been set up, you have to close out and lose all of the information you have entered in the Project setup, go back and enter the Tax Authority, and then go back into the Project Setup and reenter the previously entered data. If another predecessor isn't accurate once you get back in, you have to repeat the entire process. This is also true when entering CMR's, Contract Billings, etc.

I vote yes, this is so aggravating.
You are correct. This is a common problem through out the software. When entering time, if you realize half way thru that you need to change a rate, you have to close enter time (either by project or by time), make the change on the employee and then go back to re-entering the time. This is such a waste of time. You should be able to flip back and forth without having to close things. Just one of the many frustrations of this software.
Wonderful idea that should have been thought of during implementation. These developers are clueless...
